Sydney summers bring mosquitoes. No pest company can remove every insect blowing in from a reserve, river or neighbouring yard. What we can do is reduce breeding on your property and treat the harbourage where mosquitoes rest around outdoor living areas.
Extreme Pest Control NSW provides mosquito treatments for homes and businesses across Greater Sydney as part of making patios, gardens and entries more usable.
What a mosquito problem looks like
Mosquitoes breed in still water: plant saucers, blocked gutters, ponds, trailer tarps, toys, drain grates and poorly graded areas that pond after rain. Adults rest in dense shrubs, under decks and on shaded walls.
Properties near rivers, wetlands, golf courses or poorly drained parks will always have more pressure. Treatment still helps on the property itself; it cannot change the suburb’s water.
Indoor mosquitoes often mean an open door, a damaged screen, or adults resting in dark rooms after being drawn to lights.

Any container or sag that holds water for more than a few days.
-
Dusk activity
Heavy biting around the garden, especially near shrubs and under decks.
-
Screens
Damaged flyscreens or doors left open at dusk.
-
Gutters and drains
Blocked eaves gutters and grated pits holding organic soup.
Comfort and disease awareness
Mosquitoes make outdoor areas unpleasant and can affect sleep if they get indoors.
Australia has mosquito-borne diseases in some regions and seasons. Reducing breeding on your property is a sensible health measure. We do not diagnose illness — see a doctor if you are unwell after bites.
Neighbours’ ponds and public land mean expectations should stay realistic. The job is reduction, not eradication of a whole suburb.
How mosquito treatment works
We look for breeding water and resting harbourage, treat vegetation and shaded structures where appropriate, and advise on emptying or modifying containers that keep refilling.
A residual treatment of resting sites can reduce adults around a patio for a period. Rain, irrigation and new water undo that if breeding is left in place.
Screens, door habits and gutter cleaning are part of the result. We will say so rather than selling a spray as a complete answer.

FAQs
Will mosquitoes disappear completely? +
Unlikely if there is breeding water nearby. Treatment and removing standing water should noticeably reduce activity on your property.
How often should mosquito control be done? +
Warm, wet months are the usual window. Frequency depends on rain, irrigation and how much breeding water the block holds.
Is treatment safe around ponds with fish? +
Tell us about ponds, fish and water features when you book. Those areas are handled differently from empty buckets and gutters.
